WD State ex. rel Collins v. Roldan
MODL has filed an
amicus brief
in a pending writ case in the WD State ex. rel Collins v. Roldan. Elizabeth Raines and Dylan Murray from Baker Sterchi prepared and filed the brief. It is a pending writ case against Judge Roldan and it involves the issue of permitting ex parte contacts in medical authorizations. Plaintiff objected to signing the authorization. The judge agreed and defendants pursued a writ and the WD has issued a preliminary writ. Briefing is underway.
